Estonia-based iGaming firm Foxium has been thinking outside of the box for around eight years now. It was founded in 2015 with the aim of creating high-quality slot games and it’s fair to say the company has succeeded in that mission, focusing on storytelling and feature-rich gaming.

Foxium’s latest release has proven another hit in the VegasSlotsOnline office. 9 Enchanted Beans has made it into our recent Slots of the Week for its Jack and the Beanstalk theme and exciting features. VegasSlotsOnline News caught up with Foxium Senior Business Development Manager Nicole Hobart to find out a little bit more about the company and its newest slot addition.

Thanks for agreeing to get involved. Firstly, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and why you love working for Foxium?

Thank you for the invitation! My name is Nicole Hobart, and I am the Senior Business Development Manager at Foxium. I love working for Foxium for many reasons, but mostly because I’m a huge slots fanatic and Foxium produces some of the best slots in the industry.

Foxium prides itself on “games that outfox the ordinary.” Can you explain a bit about what this means?

Isn’t it a great phrase!? To us, it simply means delivering what players love but with a Foxium edge, that adds more excitement to the original idea. For example, our use of the proven Epic Strike mechanic with a classic age-old and loved fable came together to create a fun and engaging slot that I believe is Foxium’s magnum opus.

Has your approach to game design changed at all over the past eight or so years?

Quite honestly, I don’t believe it has. Foxium has always had a very unique approach to game design. What I mean by that is the ability to fuse great storytelling with immersive gameplay, driven by compelling character design, mathematics, and sound. If anything, I would say the studio’s approach remains loyal to the brand’s promise and commitment of outfoxing the ordinary.

If you had just 30 seconds to convince a player to choose your games, what would you say?

I would eat my hat if you do not have a great time playing a Foxium slot! Every game is in a class of its own and created with all the ingredients that guarantee oodles of fun, excitement, adventure, and reward.
