OpenAI強調ChatGPT付費用戶可透過GPTs服務，針對其需求打造客製化ChatGPT，而且只需輸入自然語言描述，完全不需撰寫程式，另一方面，OpenAI也將建立GPT Store機制，讓開發者能透過GPTs獲利
GPTs與ChatGPT最大的差異在於它可連結至真實的世界，像是連至特定的資料庫與電子郵件，並令它成為用戶的購物助理，例如用戶得以整合旅行清單資料庫，連結至電子郵件信箱，以方便執行網路訂購。
ChatGPT Enterprise用戶則可建置企業內部的版本，不管是供特定專案、部門或是資料庫使用，有些早期試用者已利用它來設計行銷內容，協助客服回答客戶問題，或是幫助新來的工程師上任。
對於ChatGPT Plus用戶來說，此次OpenAI還將所參考的資料日期從2021年9月擴充到2023年4月，且不必切換就能存取DALL·E文字轉圖像模型、執行瀏覽或進行資料分析，也能直接附加檔案以要求ChatGPT搜尋所附上的PDF或其它文件格式。
