Play Store是Google生态系统的重要一员，无论是Android手机、Android平板、WearOS手表、Android TV或Google TV电视，甚至是ChromeOS计算机和笔记本，只要涉及程序或游戏，都可以通过Google Play Store购买和安装。

现在用户只需登录Google账号，就可以打通过Play Store去远程安装程序到采用相同账号登录和连接的设备，例如用户可以在计算机登录Google Play Store网站，远程为家中的智慧电视或公事包内的平板安装程序。这项功能虽然相当方便，但却未能逆向操作，将程序远程移除。
幸好在最近更新的Google Play Store v38.3版本中，Google终于加入远程移除程序的功能，用户在Apps and Games版面下点击Manage栏目，就可以将同一账号的其他设备内，已安装的程序远程移除。Google Play Store的更新会陆续向所有合资格设备和用户提供，除了上述新功能，这次更新还在界面设计上作出改动。
