Google Messages的RCS用戶數突破10億人

Google Messages新增7種基於RCS協定的互動功能，包括照片表情符號Photomoji、語音情緒、螢幕效果及客製化泡泡（Custom Bubbles）
在蘋果的傳訊程式中，倘若雙方都使用蘋果裝置，即可透過iMessage傳訊，那麼訊息便是以藍色泡泡顯示，但若其中有一方非採用蘋果裝置，或未啟用iMessage，因而使用傳統的簡訊服務，那麼訊息就會以綠色泡泡顯示。而Google Messages的客製化泡泡則允許使用者任意變更泡泡顏色，直接打破蘋果慣例。
