3菲人非法贩售枪支被捕 客户均为博彩公司中国人。
菲律宾南警区(SPD)近日在文珍俞巴市(Muntinlupa)阿拉邦区(Alabang)展开行动，逮捕涉嫌向菲律宾离岸博彩运营商(POGO)及中国公民贩售无证枪支和弹药的三名菲律宾公民。
在商场停车场展开的行动中，当局逮捕了司机以及外号为Ivan的非法贩售枪支团伙的主谋，而另一名同伙Daryl当天在马尼拉被捕。
当局在行动中查获两把高火力枪支、两把手枪以及2000多发的5.56毫米弹子弹，总价值约为24万披索。
根据调查，两名主要嫌疑人是预备役军人和私人保安。
警方从去年十月收到情报后便开始追查该团伙的行动。
与此同时，司机声称没有参与该团伙的行动，自己只是被租来开车服务的。当局将对此展开调查，并可能将司机转为污点证人。
嫌犯将面临违反第10591号共和国法案《综合枪械及弹药条例法》等指控。
