Nvidia正式推出RTX Video HDR功能，使RTX顯卡可將SDR影片轉為HDR

Nvidia可將影片從標準動態範圍轉換成高動態範圍的功能RTX Video HDR，現在已經在最新的Studio驅動程式一月版本中提供，支援Chromium系列瀏覽器
Nvidia在CES上發表的RTX Video HDR，這個運用人工智慧將標準動態範圍（Standard Dynamic Range，SDR）的影片轉換成高動態範圍（High Dynamic Range，HDR）的功能，已經在Nvidia的Studio驅動程式一月版本中推出。RTX Video HDR與RTX超解析度（RTX Super Resolution）功能可以相結合使用，支援諸如Chrome、Edge等Chromium系列瀏覽器。
RTX Video利用GeForce RTX GPU上的Tensor Core，將瀏覽器中所播放的標準動態範圍的影片，轉換成為高動態範圍，在高階顯示器上呈現生動且動態色彩，保留因為影片壓縮所丟失的複雜細節。而這與Nvidia在去年所推出的RTX超解析度功能有異曲同工之妙，都能夠增強影片畫質，RTX超解析度則是運用人工智慧消除壓縮失真，同時提升影片解析度。
要使用RTX Video HDR這個新功能，用戶需要安裝最新Studio驅動程式，也要在作業系統中啟用Windows HDR功能，並於Nvidia控制面板中RTX Video增強功能中，啟用HDR選項。除此之外，要發揮RTX Video HDR的功能，需要將RTX GPU連接到相容於HDR10的顯示器和電視，瀏覽器上的標準動態範圍的影片便會自動轉換成高動態範圍，改善影片細節和清晰度。
