Allwyn, a prominent player in the lottery industry, has announced a strategic collaboration with Instant Win Gaming (IWG), a leading supplier of digital e-Instant and instant win games. This partnership aims to drive innovation in the instant win games sector and fortify Allwyn’s content offering.

Allwyn’s collaboration with IWG’s co-founders, Rhydian Fisher and Simon Bucknall, underscores the commitment to enhancing the lottery experience. By leveraging IWG’s expertise, Allwyn seeks to expand its portfolio and introduce captivating content to its players. As part of the agreement, Allwyn will invest in IWG, acquiring a significant 70% stake in the company using its existing financial resources.

The investment is slated to finalize in the latter half of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions. Notably, there will be no alterations to IWG’s operational structure post-acquisition. Rhydian Fisher and Simon Bucknall will retain their positions as CEO and COO, respectively.

Fisher acknowledged Allwyn’s deep awareness of the lottery customer base and projected both immediate gains for current partners and promising future expansion.
