Ripps 及 Cahen 遭判賠 900 萬美元

最新的加州聯邦法院文件顯示，有關 Ripps 及 Cahen (又名 Pauly0x) 的反訴遭到該案法官駁回，稱其中的一些訴因效力薄弱而否決，並被宣判須支付高達 882.5  萬美元的賠償費用。

具體來說，包括 Yuga Labs 共 698 萬美元的律師費 、前一次訴訟判賠 157 萬美元的商標侵權及損害賠償、以及約 33 萬的專家證人費用。

另外，在反訴中，Ripps 及 Cahen 則宣稱 Yuga Labs 蓄意或過失施壓造成兩人情感痛苦，並聲明其產品並無構成誹謗，但法官對此表示駁回。

同時，文件中還強調了 Ripps 及 Cahen 須在未來兩週內銷毀所有侵權材料，包括 NFT、文章、文件、軟體、行銷產品、廣告、以及任何需要使用 BAYC 智慧財產權的所有相關資產：

如果被告擁有任何 RR/BAYC 的 NFT 等產品，他們應銷毀或將其提供給 Yuga Labs 處置。

Yuga Labs 版權訴訟案告一段落

最初，Yuga Labs 於 2022 年 7 月對 Ripps 及 Cahen 提出指控，稱兩人在發布名為 RR/BAYC 的仿冒 NFT 系列後，涉及商標侵權、不實廣告及不正當競爭行為，並因此賺取了數百萬美元。
