MediaTroopers, a digital marketing agency, has recently broadened its operations in the United States by obtaining a temporary affiliate license in Maine. This authorization, issued by the Maine Gambling Control Unit, permits MediaTroopers to collaborate with and promote licensed sportsbook partners within the state. With this new license, MediaTroopers extends its regulatory compliance to 14 states, while actively operating in 25 states, including Ontario, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.

Maine introduced legal sports betting on July 31, 2022, approving wagering at physical casinos and through online platforms licensed by the state. Notable operators such as Caesars Sportsbook and DraftKings have already been licensed, and State Tribes are permitted to offer mobile sports betting statewide in addition to operating sportsbooks at gaming facilities.
