The 14th Women in Gaming Diversity Awards (WiGD) Open for Nominations

Nominations opened today for Women in Gaming Diversity Awards 2024 .Launched in 2010, the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards are strongly established as the global gaming industry’s most prestigious and widely respected diversity event.

The 14^th Women in Gaming Diversity awards honour excellence in promoting diversity and inclusion within the gaming industry. The WiG Awards will reward and recognize individuals and organizations for outstanding devotion to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion;

The 14^th WiGD awards will introduce 2 new categories: Apprentice of the Year and Corporate Wellbeing initiate Awards, which will reward corporations looking after employees mental health, age related stages, young parental support and more.

Lana Thompson: “Diversity is not just a priority, but should be part of the culture in our industry. We are very proud promoting gender gap in female leader roles for 14 years. The WiG Diversity event will recognize some of the outstanding diversity efforts we witnessed by a number of organizations in our industry.”

The 14^th WiGD is supporting ‘Break Through Breast Cancer’ charity. The charity hopes to saves lives and support sufferers of all ages. By raising awareness and raising as much money as possible, from sponsored walks, runs to climbing the Great Wall of China, ‘Break Through Breast Cancer’ helps women live free from the fear of cancer.
