AT&T電信服務中斷10小時，惹來FBI調查

在美國東部時間周四（2/22）凌晨3:30左右（臺北時間下午4:30），美國最大電信業者AT&T發生行動網路服務中斷事件，包括通話、網路及簡訊服務都停擺，高峰時全美有超過7萬名用戶受到影響，且中斷時間超過10小時，引起了美國聯邦通訊委員會（FCC）及美國國土安全部（DHS）的關心，並使得聯邦調查局（FBI）介入調查，不過，AT&T澄清，只是內部程序錯誤所造成，與網路攻擊無關。
AT&T在美國的5G部署已可覆蓋當地的2.1億名使用者，其去年第四季的財報顯示，該公司的行動網路訂閱用戶數為7,310萬，光纖網路的訂閱用戶數為830萬。
周四有大量的AT&T用戶發現電話服務無法使用，不能通話、傳簡訊，也無法使用網路，連緊急電話911都不能撥，使得外界懷疑AT&T是否遭到網路攻擊。
不過，當天下午AT&T便出面澄清，初步調查顯示其服務中斷源自於應用程式，在擴充網路時執行了一個錯誤的程序，並非受到網路攻擊，將會深入評估此次的事件，以繼續提供客戶應有的服務。
目前AT&T服務已恢復正常。
