金磚國家「區塊鏈支付系統」打造中
據俄媒塔斯社 (TASS) 報導，由巴西、俄羅斯、印度、中國及南非組成的金磚五國集團，正致力於打造基於區塊鏈、數位技術的支付系統。
克里姆林宮助手 Yury Ushakov 接受塔斯社採訪時表示：
我們相信，打造獨立的金磚國家支付系統會是未來的重要目標，該系統將基於數位技術、區塊鏈等先進機制，並確保對於政府、企業、大眾皆能易於使用，並具有成本效益且不受政治干預。

金磚國家集團過去以來持續減少對美元結算的依賴，Yury Ushakov 指出，緊急儲備機制仍會存在，主要涉及使用非美元貨幣。
俄羅斯已啟用 CBDC 試點
俄羅斯在去年 8 月時啟動數位盧布試點，其採用與試點將包括幾個階段，預計於 2023 年和 2024 年完成。
