Another day, another dollar – quite literally – as the largest online casino jackpot in the history of U.S. regulated gambling continues to grow in New Jersey.

BetMGM’s progressive jackpot, as of Monday morning, sits well over $4.2 million, shattering the previous record – also via BetMGM — of $3.5 million from 2021.

“A growing, record-breaking jackpot that can be won at any minute is exhilarating. BetMGM is anticipating the momentous occasion in our history when we can award the biggest jackpot ever,” BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said in a press release. “Every day, we aim to give the best iGaming experience to our players with an ever-growing selection of best-in-class games, exclusive titles and the opportunity to win big jackpots.” 

The jackpot – known as “The Big One” – is offered at all four skins BetMGM operates in New Jersey, including BetMGM, Wheel of Fortune Casino, PartyCasino, and Borgata. 

Some of the games where it’s offered are: MGM Grand Millions, MGM Grand Millions High Roller, Bison Fury, Mirage Mega Magma, and Loot’en Khamun: The Dead Sea Scrolls.

The jackpot can be triggered on any spin, though the rules state the more someone wagers, the higher the likelihood of the jackpot being won.

The jackpot is also capped at $5 million, should nobody hit before then.
