Light & Wonder has launched a new slot title that will keep Netflix fans very happy. Squid Game One Lucky Day, released on March 13, gives gamblers a chance to step into the mysterious and deadly world of the hit South Korean TV show Squid Game.

Created for Netflix by Hwang Dong-hyuk, Squid Game was a smash hit in 2021. In the series, hundreds of cash-strapped players accept a mysterious invite to compete in children’s games with a deadly twist. If they win the competition, they will earn ₩45.6bn ($34.6m).

The game is designed on the premise and look of the series itself, right down to the symbols. These include the Frontman, Young-hee, and Honeycomb Candy Challenge icons, among others. Meanwhile, the dramatic music also comes straight from the show, as does the background spiral staircase imagery.

As for the bonus rounds, these are based on Squid Game’s terrifying challenges. Red Light Green Light, Glass Bridge Challenge, and Tug of War all feature, with each including graphics and sound effects relating to the TV series.
