SEC扳回一城，法院判定瑞波需支付19.5億美元、永久禁止機構銷售

瑞波需支付 19.5 億美元
日前瑞波高管證實 SEC 要求紐約法官對該瑞波處以 20 億美元的罰款，而據法律文件所示，法院在充分聽取了相關意見後，法官在最終判決書中批准 SEC 動議提出以下命令：

Ripple 需返還 876,308,712 美元，此為違反證券銷售之淨利潤。

據證券法第 20(d) 章節，需支付 876,308,712 美元的民事罰金。
-
Ripple 另需支付 198,150,940 美元的判決前利息。
總計瑞波需繳交 19.5 億美元。
SEC 扳回一城、瑞波遭判永久性禁令
此前報導，2023 年的勝訴並未代表著瑞波將全身而退，當時瑞波向機構投資者 (包括機構買家、對沖基金和 ODL 客戶) 賣幣已被法官認定為證券銷售，這仍需等待最終裁決 (即今年)。

判決書進一步指出，瑞波將被永久性地禁止直接、間接進行未註冊證券的機構銷售，除非具備有效的註冊聲明，否則瑞波不得透過任何商業工具、通訊手段來運送、銷售或交付該證券 (XRP)。
機構銷售一直以來是瑞波的收入來源之一，這可能對未來財務報表造成負面影響。
