蘋果被 Google 爆料了？ iPhone 將於 2024 秋季開始支援 RCS

Google Messages 頁面中短暫出現「Apple 已宣布將於 2024 年秋季採用 RCS。一旦實現，就代表每個人都能獲得更好的訊息體驗」的訊息，現在已消失。
Android 網站新為 Google Messages 增加了登陸頁，並短暫的在頁面中寫下蘋果將於今年秋季支援 RCS 訊息傳遞標準的預告，很可能代表蘋果會隨著 iOS 18 更新開始支援。
Google Messages 頁面詳細介紹了 RCS 的優點，包括會帶來高解析度照片和影片、更好的群組聊天體驗，其中一個副標「為所有人提供更好的訊息傳遞體驗」下方，出現了「Apple 已宣布將於 2024 年秋季採用 RCS。一旦實現，就代表每個人都能獲得更好的訊息體驗」等字眼，但現在已不在網頁上了。
去年 11 月蘋果宣布將採用 RCS，並會在今年稍晚透過軟體更新推出，蘋果iMessage 不會就此消失，而是 SMS 和 MMS 被 RCS 替代。
Google 一直在推動要消除的「綠泡泡藍泡泡」差異也不會被解決，但至少 Android 用戶將能夠向 iPhone 用戶發送高解析度的內容。
除了爆料蘋果的 RCS 時程外，Google 也在 Google Messages 頁面介紹會動的表情符號即將推出，以及目前客製化訊息泡泡樣式的功能為 beta 版。
