A lucky slots player won a $1.25m jackpot right as the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Mississippi was getting ready to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The anonymous person made the $1 spin on the game Wheel of Fortune Triple Gold: Gold Spin on March 8.
The Biloxi property hadn’t seen such a significant win since November 2022 when someone hit a $1.18m pot. It was on the exact same slot machine – and for the exact same stakes – as the most recent big win.

When the Beau Rivage opened on March 15, 1999, it was the largest casino-hotel in the US outside of Nevada.
