Above the Felt, a poker and gaming marketing and talent agency, has revealed its collaboration with Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the upcoming grand opening of their new poker room in May.

This partnership signifies a key event in the Midwest United States, as it brings together notable poker players and personalities alongside local participants for the inaugural poker room launch.

Scheduled for Thursday, 2 May, the main event will feature figures from the poker industry, including Matt Berkey, Jamie Kerstetter and Jaman Burton. These individuals, known for their contributions to the poker community, will host a special meet-up cash game, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage with and compete alongside respected players.

The Potawatomi Casino Hotel's grand opening of its poker room and Las Vegas-style sportsbook, scheduled for 3 May, represents the final phase of its $190m renovation project.

The Poker Room will offer various games, including No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha, along with promotional activities such as High Hand Jackpots. Adjacent to the Poker Room, the Potawatomi Sportsbook will feature amenities for guests.

This development follows Potawatomi Casino Hotel's previous initiatives, including the implementation of the IGT Advantage casino management system and expansion into legal sports betting in compliance with Wisconsin state regulations.
