挑戰 Google！傳 OpenAI 最快 5/9 公布基於 ChatGPT 的搜尋應用產品

Riddit 論壇網站傳出消息，指稱 OpenAI 將可能在 5 月 9 日推出基於 ChatGPT 的搜尋應用產品，有可能藉此挑戰 Google 長久以來的搜尋服務技術。
相關消息表示，OpenAI 已經建立「search.chatgpt.com」網域名稱，同時也已經申請對應此網域名稱的 SSL 加密憑證，顯示 OpenAI 準備推出基於 ChatGPT 的搜尋應用產品。
先前有不少看法認為，在大型自然語言模型加持下，透過人工智慧互動方式將比傳統搜尋引擎更容易獲取知識，因此認為 OpenAI 等業者提出人工智慧技術將能取代 Google Search 等服務。
不過，OpenAI 執行長 Sam Altman 在先前受訪時，則是表示對於在搜尋引擎服務擊敗 Google 不感興趣，意味 OpenAI 會將更多資源聚焦在自動生成式人工智慧技術發展，而非打造一款網路搜尋服務。
但在與微軟合作部分，OpenAI 則是將其技術納入微軟 Copilot 服務，並且進一步與微軟 Bing Search 整合，讓 Bing Search 搜尋結果能以自動生成式人工智慧產生更多參考內容。
而 Google 方面也開始藉由自身 Gemini 人工智慧技術，使其 Google Search 同樣能以自動生成式人工智慧方式創造全新搜尋體驗。
