再次強碰！傳 OpenAI 搜尋產品將搶在 Google I/O 前一日發表

Google I/O 即將在美國時間下週二登場，預計將發表一系列的 AI 產品。不過在此之前，OpenAI 可能會先發表自家的「搜尋產品」。
《彭博社》報導，OpenAI 計畫在下週一發表由人工智慧（AI）驅動的搜尋產品，直接與搜尋王者 Google 展開競爭，且日期就選在後者的開發者大會 I/O 之前。
據報導，這項搜尋產品會是 ChatGPT 的一項能力擴展，能讓 ChatGPT 直接從網路獲取資訊，並且會在答案中列出引用來源。此外，也有消息稱此產品的另一個版本會進一步加入圖像，並附在文字回覆的一旁。
Google I/O 即將在美國時間下週二登場，預計將發表一系列的 AI 產品。
事實上，先前就有諸多猜測指出 OpenAI 即將在搜尋領域挑戰 Google，包括 X 用戶發現的「search.chatgpt.com」網站，該網站曾短暫地導向 chatgpt.com。
自 ChatGPT 問世以來就有不少產業觀察家指出，這有可能威脅到 Google 的搜尋地位，不過以微軟（Microsoft）為例，當時該公司在自家搜尋引擎中加入 OpenAI 的 ChatGPT 一年後，其市佔率幾乎沒有變化，原因也與 Google 長期在搜尋市場下的「苦心」有關。
有趣的是，這不是 OpenAI 第一次搶去 Google 的風采，Google 在今年稍早發表 Gemini 1.5 Pro 時，也曾強碰 OpenAI 的影片生成模型 Sora 發表。
