The first offer is a deposit match with no first bet required to earn the sport bonus. A minimum $10 deposit triggers the sports bonus where BetMGM will match 20% of however much you deposit.

Once you earn the sports bonus, you’ll need to cash wager 10x the bonus earned in the first 30 days. This is a BetMGM requirement that frees up any cash earned for withdrawal to your bank account.

One of my new favorite matchups is the NBA playoff series between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs stole one of the games in Boston and now return for two games at home, where they excelled in the last series against the Magic.

Let’s run through a quick example of how you can activate the deposit match. Assume I make a $200 deposit, earning $40 in sports bonus.

First, the $40 of sports bonus is valid for seven days and can be used as funds within the BetMGM mobile app. You can profit cash through a bonus wager but the cash cannot be withdrawn until you meet the next requirement.

The first bet insurance is fairly easy to navigate since it only has two outcomes based on how your wager performs. Let’s say I placed $100 on the Cleveland Cavaliers +275 to win Game 3 at home.
