美國總統候選人川普 (Donald Trump) 宣布開始接受加密貨幣捐款，並稱自己將減少監管並倡導金融科技創新，MAGA 支持者將建立一支加密貨幣軍隊，在 11 月 5 日推動競選活動取得勝利！
川普的競選團隊推出了一個籌款網站，讓任何聯邦政府允許的捐款者都可以透過其聯合籌款委員會，使用 Coinbase Commerce 產品進行捐贈，根據其網站，加密貨幣選項包括：比特幣、以太幣、USDC、SOL、XRP 和柴犬幣。
