高通Snapdragon AI PC處理器將用於各種型態PC產品

高通執行長表示，專為AI PC設計的Snapdragon X Elite處理器，除了筆電，也將普及運用於mini-PC、平板等各種型態的PC
Snapdragon X Elite是在二周前，微軟偕硬體合作夥伴發表多款Copilot+ PC筆電產品首度公開，新品包含來自宏碁、華碩、HP與聯想的筆電產品，預定本月18日開賣。
Snapdragon X Elite是第一顆可支援微軟定義的「AI PC」AI算力需求的處理器，其NPU提供40 TOPS的運算效能，總運算效能更高達75 TOPS。截自目前公布的PC產品中，高通處理器在NPU AI算力上領先AMD、英特爾及蘋果。
不過這領先可能即將結束。AMD昨日公布代號Strix Point的第3代Ryzen AI筆電處理器，其中NPU效能最高可至50TOPS，號稱為目前全球最好的Copilot+ PC處理器，搭載該處理器的新筆電產品也會在Computex展示。
英特爾規畫下半年推出代號Lunar Lake的下一代Core Ultra處理器，NPU預計也可提升到40TOPS。此外，被視為蘋果支援AI PC概念的Apple Silicon M4處理器已在上個月連同最新iPad Pro公開，搭載M4晶片的最新MacBook筆電或Mac電腦預計年底公布。
