Olympia Gaming is the latest casino company to fall victim to a cyberattack. The hack impacted its Casino Fandango and Legends Bay properties in Northern Nevada causing some systems to go down for a period.

Olympia Gaming is hoping to resume full operations as soon as it is safe to do so

A company spokesperson said that the property quickly began securing systems and engaged with cybersecurity experts to investigate the matter. Olympia Gaming is hoping to resume full operations as soon as it is safe to do so, adding that its goal is to fully protect its customers and employees. It did not reveal if hackers accessed any private data.

Certain events at the casinos were cancelled on Wednesday night as the management tried to get a handle on the situation.

Olympia Gaming joins Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts International, the Swinomish Casino and Lodge in Washington, and the Casino Del Sol in Arizona in suffering cyberattacks over the past 12 months.
