A patron at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore reportedly died after winning a $4m jackpot. Video footage of the incident making the rounds on social media and shows an unidentified man motionless on the ground next to a high-stakes table at the casino, surrounded by people trying to help him.

According to eyewitness reports, the frequent patron was ecstatic after striking it big before quickly growing overwhelmed. He collapsed and emergency medical personnel were supposedly unable to resuscitate him following a suspected cardiac event.

Unfortunately, these types of incidents are not a rare occurrence at gambling properties. In February a poker player named John Grace suffered a heart attack after winning a pot while playing a cash game at the JACK Casino in Ohio.

Thankfully a Cleveland Clinic doctor was sitting at a nearby table and quickly began performing CPR before using a defibrillator. Grace eventually regained his pulse and has made a good recovery.
