本週勒索軟體駭客組織LockBit聲稱成功入侵美國聯準會，得手超過30 TB資料卻沒有公布部分內容，許多研究人員質疑駭客只是虛張聲勢，如今有資安業者確認，這批資料實際上來自一家名為Evolve Bank and Trust的金融機構
但這些資料究竟來自聯準會還是Evolve Bank and Trust？網路威脅監控公司HackManac透露，根據駭客公布的資料，對方顯然入侵了Evolve Bank and Trust，但目前並未發現機密文件的情況，該公司仍著手持續調查當中。
資安新聞網站Bleeping Computer向這家金融機構進行確認，他們表示得知有駭客組織在暗網發布非法取得的資料，正在著手調查此事，而對於受到影響的客戶，他們將會提供信用監控及身分盜用保護服務。
