Nominations open for CDC Gaming/Global Gaming Women’s 10 Women Rising in Gaming honors

The third edition of CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women’s honors recognizing the achievements of women in the gaming industry is undergoing subtle but significant changes.

The first two honors were limited to women under the age of 40. But this year, “10 Women Rising in Gaming” is open to any woman who has worked in the gaming industry for at least five years.

“We are elated to open nominations for Women Rising in Gaming to women of all ages, creating a more inclusive recognition of women making career moves in gaming,” said CDC Gaming Publisher Cory Roberts. “CDC Gaming is committed to highlighting emerging women in gaming who will become the next generation of leaders. Our organization is proud to support Global Gaming Women in their mission to level the playing field in a way that benefits everyone by creating a more innovative, forward-thinking industry.”

Also, this year CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women are soliciting nominations from peers and co-workers in order to identify a wide range of accomplished nominees.

“Partnering with the CDC Gaming for our annual 10 Women Rising Award highlights the significance of recognizing and celebrating the impact and growth of women in the gaming industry,” says GGG President Lauren Bates. “At all stages of their careers, these remarkable women inspire innovation and drive progress, shaping the future of gaming in extraordinary ways. Through this collaboration, we aim to highlight their achievements and encourage a more inclusive and dynamic industry for all.”

Nominations will be accepted from July 9 — August 2. Each nomination should include:
