針對駭客利用本月微軟修補的MSHTML平臺欺騙漏洞CVE-2024-38112的情況，有研究人員公布新的調查結果，指出名為Void Banshee的APT駭客組織在今年初就開始從事相關攻擊行動
針對這款竊資軟體的來歷，研究人員指出對方是以開源的NecroStealer和PredatorTheStealer為基礎打造，能從應用程式、加密貨幣錢包、瀏覽器收集個資，並在受害電腦的桌面竊取特定格式的檔案，再者，該竊資軟體也能截取電腦螢幕畫面，以及收集完整的系統資訊，最終打包成ZIP檔回傳攻擊者。
