The Professional Pickleball Association is partnering with global technology and consultancy firm Integrity Compliance 360 to protect the integrity of the pickleball betting market in the United States.

The deal will grant the PPA access to two of IC360’s advanced data systems. The centralized cross-monitoring platform ProhiBet will prevent people in affiliate roles – such as athletes, coaches, officials and administrators – from participating in prohibited wagering. The PPA also will have access to IC360’s proprietary dashboard system, which analyzes data sets to flag irregular wagering patterns.

PPA’s commitment to integrity and ProhiBet’s state-of-the-art data transfer system will “enhance the transparency and trustworthiness of sports betting activities,” ProhiBet Managing Director Matt Heap told The Dink.

Justin Mader, associate general counsel & gambling operations manager for the PPA Tour, celebrated the partnership on LinkedIn, saying the partnership demonstrates the PPA’s commitment to “maintaining the integrity of professional pickleball.”

The PPA is one of two professional pickleball tours in the United States and is the only pickleball association approved for sports wagering. The legal betting market went live in August and launched in 10 North American jurisdictions: Michigan, Maryland, Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, Wyoming, Tennessee, Colorado, Washington and Ontario.
