澳大利亚媒体向洪森侄子道歉

并发布了澄清声明，诉讼双方已在保密基础上达成和解

据本地媒体报道，澳大利亚联邦法院近日作出裁决，要求《澳大利亚人报》就此前针对洪都(Hun To)涉及人口贩卖、电信诈骗和毒品贩卖等犯罪活动的报道向其道歉。该报道发表于2022年8月5日。

《澳大利亚人报》在随后的声明中澄清，无意暗示洪都先生参与了这些犯罪活动，并认同洪都先生的说法，确认他没有参与上述行为。报纸已撤下该文章，诉讼双方已在保密基础上达成和解。

据悉，当时报道发布后，洪都通过其澳大利亚律师亚当·洛佩兹(Adam Lopez)提起诉讼，要求《澳大利亚人报》撤回报道并发表声明澄清事实，以清除报道对其造成名誉损失。

据悉，洪都是现任参议员主席洪森的侄子，同时也是汇旺支付的董事之一。
