微軟將在11月終止支援.NET 6，用戶應升級到.NET 8

繼.NET 7在今年上半來到生命周期終點，屬於長期支援版本的.NET 6也即將於今年底EoL，微軟呼籲用戶開始升級到.NET 8

微軟再度發出溫馨提醒，.NET 6將在2024年11月12日來到生命周期終點（end of lifecycle，EoL）。
在11月12日後，.NET 6將不再獲得安全更新及技術支援。微軟呼籲用戶必須在此日期前升級到.NET 8。
.NET 6是在2021年2月釋出6.0.0第一個預覽版，並在同年11月8日推出正式版。根據微軟的說明頁，.NET 6屬於長期支援（Long Term Support，LTS）版本，從正式推出日獲得3年支援，於2024年11月12日終止。
.NET 6支援的作業系統廣泛，包括Android 14, 13, 12.1, 12、iOS、iPadOS、tvOS 15-17及macOS 12-14、多個Linux版本（如Red Hat Enterprise Linux、SUSE、Debian、Ubuntu），以及Windows：Windows 10 1607- Windows 11、Server 2012-23H2、Windows Server Core 2012-23H2及Nano Server 2019、2022。最後一個版本是6.0.32版。
.NET 6後的.NET 7則已經提早終止支援。根據微軟網頁，.NET 7屬於標準期支援（Standard Term Support，STS），只提供18個月的安全更新。因此2022年11月才推出的.NET 7，已在今年5月28日EoL。
最新的.NET 8為2023年11月推出，也是屬於長期支援，支援期間將到2026年11月。
