In a decisive move, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced an immediate ban on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) during his latest State of the Nation Address due to their involvement in criminal activities. 


“Effective today, all POGOs are banned,” Marcos declared. He has instructed PAGCOR to wind down and cease POGO operations by the end of the year.
