DraftKings will soon enter Washington D.C.’s sports betting market, the operator announced Tuesday.

A projected launch date for the popular sports betting app has yet to be shared. Once live, DraftKings will be available in 29 states and jurisdictions across the country. DraftKings secured market access in Washington D.C. through a partnership with D.C. United.

“It has been incredible to see legalized sports betting grow rapidly over the past six years, and with plans to launch our online sportsbook in D.C., DraftKings looks forward to expanding its presence in more than half the country,” DraftKings North America president Matt Kalish said in a press release.
