Maryland: Bally Bet goes live

Bally Bet is officially live in Maryland, with the sports betting app launching Monday.

The operator comes to Maryland shortly after launching in Massachusetts. Bally Bet is now available in nine states, including Arizona, New York, Ohio, and Virginia.

Despite recent expansion, Bally Bet’s sports wagering future is somewhat uncertain. The operator has struggled to gain market share in the states where it operates. Notably, it’s among the bottom three sports betting operators of the nine in New York, and it’s highly unlikely the betting app challenges DraftKings and FanDuel in Maryland.
