英特爾即將於本週四（8月1日）公布第二季財報。Investing.com 報導，華爾街分析師預測，英特爾 Q2 營收將與去年同期大致相同，要等到 2024 年下半年成長率才有望略增。
市場謠傳，英特爾（Intel Corp.）計畫裁減數千名員工，藉此降低成本、設法重振旗鼓，以提振慘澹的盈餘表現、奪回流失的市佔。
彭博社 30 日引述未具名消息人士報導，英特爾最快可能本週就會宣布裁員。若排除分拆獨立出來的單位員工，該公司目前聘有約 110,000 人。
英特爾上週才剛從美光（Micron Technology Inc.）挖角 Naga Chandrasekaran 擔任全球營運長，負責整體製造事業。英特爾 2022 年 10 月也曾宣布裁員，2023 年隨即將人力裁減約 5% 至 124,800 人。
