七月中，金管會主委彭金隆宣布五大金融科技策略，其中一項是要放寬業務試辦範圍，加大創新領域。時隔近一個月，金管會發表了放寬業務試辦後的首例申請案，鼓勵金融業者也能申請相關試辦案。

登入異常 永豐金證券
登入程式效能欠佳致資料庫回應過慢，永豐金證券下單軟體登入異常
上周一臺股創史上最大跌點，永豐金證券下單軟體卻無法登入。當日，永豐金證券發布聲明表示，故障原因經查證為登入程式效能欠佳，導致登入過程中，資料庫回應速度緩慢，造成部分客戶登入異常。故障問題在當日上午11點多恢復，永豐金證券也表示，當日收盤後會進行系統調教作業。
針對此事，金管會證期局主秘尚光琪事後在例行記者會上表示，交易所將會進行查核，假設發現永豐金證券與其他受雇人員違反證券法，會有相對應處置措施。
