BetMGM has revealed that one of its players has secured the biggest-ever legal online casino win in US history. The gambling operator announced that a user in New Jersey captured a progressive jackpot worth $6.45m from a $200 bet on the Fruit Blaster slot game.

In the press release announcing the record-breaking win, the operator said users won more than $138m last year through progressive jackpots, a 32% year-on-year rise.

Commenting on the landmark moment, BetMGM Chief Executive Officer Adam Greenblatt said that the win was the culmination of a “summer filled with anticipation watching the progressive jackpot grow quickly to record levels.”
