Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Tourism pledges ´fullest support´ for SiGMA South Asia

The Sri Lankan Ministry of Tourism (SLCB) has officially endorsed the SiGMA South Asia event. In a formal letter, Thisum Jayasuriya, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, conveyed the Ministry’s full support for SiGMA South Asia’s inaugural event, set to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka next year.


He further commented that the “SLCB is in the view that SiGMA South Asia 2025, would be an extremely important event to Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau endorses the proposal to host the SiGMA South Asia Summit 2025 in Sri Lanka and pledge our fullest support to SiGMA South Asia to host the conferences in Sri Lanka.”

 

SiGMA South Asia 2025 – Sri Lanka, Colombo


SiGMA´s landmark event for the South Asian market is scheduled to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from November 30th to December 2nd, 2025.


The event is expected to attract over 5,000 delegates, bringing together a diverse range of industry leaders and experts. The event will feature a distinguished speaker lineup of more than 150 authorities from across the gaming sector, including prominent government officials, regulators, and representatives from South Asia’s top gaming and land-based companies.


In addition to the speaker sessions, the event will see participation from over 800 affiliates and will showcase an expansive expo floor. The exhibition will be powered by tier-one companies from the region’s top firms, offering unparalleled opportunities for networking and business development.


SiGMA South Asia 2025 promises to be a premier gathering, setting new standards for industry events in the region and providing a platform for thought leadership, innovation, and collaboration to one of the largest gaming regions in the industry.


Connect in Colombo, expand in Bangkok


The SiGMA South Asia and Affiliate World events have been strategically scheduled to offer delegates an optimised experience in South Asia. The journey begins in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with SiGMA South Asia taking place on Monday, December 1st, and Tuesday, December 2nd. Following this, operators and studios looking to expand their reach can conveniently fly to Bangkok on Wednesday, December 3rd, arriving just in time for the start of Affiliate World on Thursday, December 4th.


This well-aligned schedule presents a unique opportunity to attend two of the industry’s leading events in one streamlined trip, maximising both networking and business opportunities across the region.
