Google將Gemini AI助理整合到Chrome網址列

本周正式發布的Chrome 128，提供在網址列輸入@即可直接輸入想要詢問聊天機器人Gemini的指令

這個做法比微軟將Copilot整合Edge的方法有效一點。在Edge中，用戶必須點選瀏覽器右上角的Copilot Logo，叫出側邊欄才能輸入在提示列查詢或下指令。Brave中，用戶也可以在網址列輸入「ask」叫出「ask Leo」選項，但是用戶還是必須在側邊欄輸入提示。

Google在8月30日更新了Gemini。Google說明，最新的Gemini以1.5 Flash為基礎，回應速度更快，所需時間是原本的50%。

Chrome網址列@選單的其他三項功能包括分頁、書籤及歷史紀錄。
