Hard Rock’s Virginia casino sets slot machine revenue record in August

The Bristol Casino had its second-best revenue month ever in August and set a new record for income from slot machines.

According to the Virginia Lottery’s August casino activity report, the Bristol Casino netted $15,940,186.74 in adjusted gross revenue (AGR).

The casino has only posted one month with a higher AGR since its opening; that occurred in March 2024 when the AGR was roughly $16.3 million.

August set a new record for revenues generated at slot machines in the casino. Slots (as is typically the case in Bristol) made up the lion’s share of the AGR by generating $13,286,447. August’s slot total beat the record previously held in March 2024, which was a little more than $13 million.
