YouTube Shorts將整合影片生成模型Veo以協助建立影片背景

DeepMind新一代影片生成模型Veo將整合至YouTube旗下短影音服務，讓用戶以文字敘述就能夠製作生動逼真的高品質影像
YouTube本周宣布，旗下短影音服務YouTube Shorts將在年底把Google DeepMind的影片生成模型Veo整合至Dream Screen中，協助使用者創作更夢幻，也更栩栩如生的影片背景。
Dream Screen是YouTube於去年底推出的實驗性功能，只要輸入文字敘述，即可生成靜態圖像，使用者可選擇直接使用該圖像或是讓它變成動畫，再使其成為短影音的背景。Dream Screen迄今仍只於某些國家進行封閉測試。
至於Veo則是DeepMind在今年發表的影片生成模型，能以各種電影及視覺風格生成超過1分鐘的1080p影片。DeepMind強調Veo可準確捕捉使用者的提示語氣，以產生更貼切的影片。
YouTube表示，當結合Dream Screen與Veo之後，使用者將可替原本無法視覺化的概念注入活力，例如說書的BookTuber或許可以踩進經典小說《秘密花園》的書頁，或是讓設計師直接將概念視覺化。
此外，Veo還能替Shorts生成一支獨立的6秒影片，利用既有的影片素材，讓Veo生成可匹配並補足既有短影音的內容。
藉由Veo創作的影片將會添加基於SynthID的浮水印，也會透過標籤向大眾傳達相關內容是由AI所生成。
