Meta旗下通訊服務Threads去年上線時的網址是Threads.net，至於Threads.com則屬於Shopify今年6月收購的新創公司所持有，但外界發現Instagram已經取得了Threads.com的網域名稱

眼尖的媒體發現，Meta旗下的Instagram已經取得了Threads.com的網域名稱。目前Threads服務的網址為Threads.net。
Threads是Meta為了與X相抗衡而推出的微型部落格服務，於去年7月正式上線，網址為Threads.net。當時的Threads.com網域名稱的所有人為一家名為Threads的新創，主要開發類似Slack的協作通訊平臺。
不過，Threads共同創辦人暨執行長Rousseau Kazi今年6月宣布，該團隊已賣給了Shopify。
根據Kazi的描述，從Instagram Threads上線以來，該公司便出現了出售網域名稱的機會，而且幾乎在同一段時間，有不同的公司找上門來，企圖收購該團隊，過去他們通常會拒絕收購，但現在情況已然不同，一來不想再花時間重塑品牌，二來科技的快速發展，令他們對於可加入一個執行大規模創新與實驗的地方感到興奮。
現階段並不確定Meta是從Threads還是Shopify手上買下Threads.com。
