泰國開賭料GDP或增加1%

泰國將以賭場合化法作為娛樂政策的一部分
劵商摩根大通表示，泰國開賭代表GDP增加0.3%至1%，稅收也會增加0.4%至1.2%。
目前有關開賭的法案起草程序已完成公開聽證，並預計今年稍後提交國會討論，賭場最快要到2032至2033年才能開始營運。另外，泰國開賭料將產生40億至60億美元的年度賭博費用。
摩通指出，泰國的政策是將該國大型的地下經濟正規化以擴大稅基，其GDP可佔整體的50%，其中賭博將佔0.6%。政策將吸引更多外國遊客和外國投資者。至於開設賭場的地點，摩通共提及8個，其中4個是位於曼谷大區。
摩通表示，以新加坡市場為基準，估計將來曼谷的賭場可提供15億至50億美元的收入，以及4億至15億美元的EBITDA，內部利率為回報率範圍的12%至29%。泰國賭場的合法化，將吸引全球博覽會、商業房地產及泰國消費者的強烈興趣。
