Chile casino operators face allegations of bid coordination

The National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) of Chile has filed a request with the Free Competition Defense Tribunal against three major casino operators and five senior executives.

The FNE alleges that Dreams, Enjoy, and Marina del Sol coordinated their bids during the national casino operating permit tenders in 2020 and 2021.

According to the FNE’s filing, the companies are accused of agreeing to bid only for the renewal of their existing permits without competing for others.
