If Missouri voters approve Lake of the Ozarks casino license, it could transform the area

Missouri Amendment 5 on the November ballot would clear the way for a new casino to be placed in the popular vacation spot.
When Missouri voters go to the polls in November, they’ll have the opportunity to authorize the building of a casino in the Lake of the Ozarks region.

If accepted, Amendment 5 would create another gambling boat license, increasing the state’s limit from 13 to 14.
