ComeOn Group adds sportsbook to its Ontario lineup

ComeOn Group has added a sportsbook to its Ontario offering, the latest to join the party in a market that generated over $2.2 billion in total sports betting and esports wagers in the second quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year. The $2.2 billion represented 12 percent of total wagers in the province, 23 percent of gaming revenue ($167 million).

“As a casino-led operator, this represents a key part of our sportsbook strategy to double our business in the coming years,” said Juergen Reutter, Chief Executive Officer at Malta-based ComeOn Group. “Like in any of our other markets, we are striving for a differentiated sportsbook entertainment experience that is powered by our in-house technology. Our goal is to deliver top-tier entertainment to our players while fostering safe and innovative gaming experiences.”

According to a statement, ComeOn Group projects to double its sportsbook business in the next few years. The Ontario market is forecasted to grow by a total of 29 percent by 2029.
