菲律宾马卡蒂市(Makati)警方周日报告称，一名30岁的越南公民因接收藏有毒品的包裹而被逮捕。
2023年1月1日早上7点，一名Grab骑手前往马卡蒂市警察局，报告自己的配送预订单可能藏有毒品。
据悉，当时居住在马卡蒂市Lerato公寓楼的一对越南公民向他转交一个红色环保袋，由于寄件人不理会司机询问包裹的内容，促使骑手检查了物品。
根据上述信息，马卡蒂市警察局人员于同日上午8点前往送货地点，即马卡蒂市的Island公寓楼前并展开诱捕行动。被捕嫌疑人经确认为30岁的阮某，越南籍。
红色环保袋内装有一包香烟、一盒口罩、一个装有一克(价值约为6800披索)的疑似沙雾(冰毒)的透明塑料袋和一部iPhone。
嫌疑人目前被拘留在马卡蒂市警察局，并将面临违反第9165号共和国法令《2002年综合危险药物法》的指控。
