Cardrooms return to southern California city under updated rules
The El Centro City Council has approved amendments to the city’s cardroom ordinance and zoning regulations, enabling cardrooms to operate within General Commercial zones and expanding operational allowances. The changes come alongside plans by Casino Azul LLC to establish a new cardroom and restaurant following their purchase of the former Tommy’s Casino and Saloon business.
