Good Bets for NFL Playoff (January 26th): Bills and Commanders to Cover the Spread in the Conference Championships

The NFL Conference Championship is upon us after some stellar displays in the Division Round, and we have all the betting suggestions and tips that you can try and follow.

The Washington Commanders posed the biggest upset in the Division Round by eliminating the 15-2 Lions. On their road to Super Bowl LIX they still remain underdogs as now they have to face the Philadelphia Eagles, which eliminated the Los Angeles Rams by 28-22 in the previous game.

As far as the AFC Conference Championship goes, no surprises there as the two teams with the best season record advanced. The defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, dispatched the Texans with ease, while the Bills had some problems with the Ravens but eventually defeated them by 27-25.

It’s only one game till Super Bowl LIX and while things seem clear, here are our thoughts and betting tips for the forthcoming games.

The NFC Championship game between the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles is set for Sunday, January 26. The Eagles are 6-point favorites with a -300 moneyline, while the Commanders are +240 underdogs. The over/under is set at 47.5 points*.

Given Philadelphia’s strong home record and their ability to dominate the line of scrimmage, they seem likely to win, but Washington’s recent road success and Jayden Daniels’ late-game heroics could make for a close contest.

Consider the Commanders +6.5 points, as they’ve demonstrated consistent spread coverage and have momentum from their playoff run. Also, everyone sees this as a low-scoring game, so take the under as an alternative.
