据悉，两名中国人于1月14日星期六在达义市(Taguig)被指控抢劫勒索菲律宾女荷官而被警方逮捕。
菲律宾国都区警署(NCRPO)称赞了两名新人警察拒绝贿赂，以换取两名日前被捕中国人获释的行为。据悉，两名中国人于1月14日星期六在达义市(Taguig)被指控抢劫勒索菲律宾女荷官而被警方逮捕。
据悉，14日清晨，菲律宾警方根据受害者的投诉逮捕了中国公民费某和吕某，并从其身上查获不同数量的毒品。受害者声称自己遭到嫌犯抢劫，而嫌犯还要求受害者支付2万披索，以归还她的私人物品。
国都区警署总监埃斯托莫(Jonnel Estomo)准将表示，中国公民易某向两名警察提供18.2万披索，但被两名警察断然拒绝。
埃斯托莫说：“尽管嫌疑人利用金钱诱惑我们的警察，但两名新人警察仍能抵制诱惑并执行任务，这也是我们对各级警察的真正期望。他们值得表扬，因为他们展示了一名忠于职守的警官的内在品格。”
当局还从易某身上缴获一把带有子弹的9毫米手枪并查扣其车辆。
